Artist’s Liability and Commission Agreements
As the exhibiting Artist, and on behalf of my insurers, successors and assigns, I take full responsibility and assume all risk and liability for the above listed artwork (paintings, prints, etchings, collage, mixed media, sculpture, etc.) displayed at said location. In consideration of being permitted to display my work at this location, I acknowledge and agree that neither the Wilmette Arts Guild nor the above named Exhibitor nor any of their respective officers, directors, agents or volunteers shall be held responsible for supervision of art or loss and/or damage to artwork, and I do hereby waive any claims for any loss or damage from any causes. I understand that neither the above named Exhibitor nor the Wilmette Arts Guild will be maintaining property insurance covering the artwork and that I am solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining whatever property insurance that I deem appropriate.If the exhibiting Artist does not remove the artwork from said location at the end of the exhibition or when otherwise requested by the Wilmette Arts Guild or the Exhibitor, the Wilmette Arts Guild may remove the artwork but shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the artwork resulting from or in connection with that removal and the transportation and temporary storage of the artwork elsewhere, and the Artist hereby waives any claims for any loss or damage resulting from any such removal, transportation or storage. After ten (10) days in such storage, artwork may be disposed of as the Wilmette Arts Guild deems appropriate.If the exhibiting Artist cannot pick up the artwork at the end of the exhibition period, the following person is authorized to do so:

The exhibiting Artist agrees that the Wilmette Arts Guild is entitled to a 20% commission on any piece of art sold by the Artist as a result of its being displayed in any gallery, event, program, or other circumstance sponsored by the Wilmette Arts Guild.
The exhibiting Artist accepts and agrees to the foregoing terms of this exhibition, including these liability and commission agreements.
